When you walk through the doors at Christ Community Church, we want you to feel you’re a part of the family of God. Our desire, as followers of Jesus, is to offer you an environment where you can experience the presence of God in a life-transforming way. We want to give you and your family the opportunity to get connected with other believers. Our church is more than a weekend service, it's about allowing every person to engage with God in a personal and intimate way.
A Warm Greeting
A genuine, heartfelt greeting is part of what makes us who we are. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters will help you get settled and comfortable.
Fun & Laughter
We have a casual atmosphere where friendships can form and relationships deepen. A place that is serious about happiness and joy, true joy, the kind of joy that comes from real connection with God and others.
Expect to be noticed. Expect people to say something like, “Hi, we haven’t met before, is this your first time?”. Expect people to reach out to you in love. At Christ Community Church you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Saturday Meal Service
Most Saturday evenings we serve a meal in the Fellowship Hall. The menu changes each week. Check our weekly online Newsletter for details by clicking here.
Hot Coffee and Doughnuts on Sundays
Welcome to the Fellowship Hall (on the main floor, just down the hall from the sanctuary). There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee (or tea) and a fresh doughnut to warm you up. Some Sundays we also serve biscuits and sausage gravy, or a sausage biscuit, fruit, and homemade pastries. Check our weekly online Newsletter for details by clicking here.
Our worship services are casual - you can wear whatever is comfortable for you. Services typically last an hour (and sometimes an extra 5 - 10 minutes). We love music, all kinds of music. From contemporary music led by our praise band to hymns sung by our choir, we use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.
The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. We believe the Bible is God’s truth. At Christ Community Church we seek to explore, understand and apply God’s truth to our lives at every level in a spirit of love. You will find a growing variety of resources to help you grow in God’s truth.
Convenient Parking and Entry
You are welcome to park in any of the lots around or behind the church building, or along Center street. You can enter the Sanctuary through the front doors (includes a few steps with hand rails) or the side door, which is wheelchair accessible; or enter the Fellowship Hall (also wheelchair accessible) through the door from the rear parking lot.
Clean, Well Staffed Nursery
Our Nursery is located adjacent to the fellowship hall and is geared toward children ages birth to three years. We will change diapers, bottle feed, provide a snack, hold, rock and comfort your child throughout their stay. During your child’s visit, they will be cared for in a clean and safe environment, both emotionally and physically, by our nursery staff.
Kids and Youth Are Welcome
After the praise time, they can follow our children and youth leaders downstairs for group time geared to their ages and interests. Or if you prefer, they are welcome to stay with the adults in the sanctuary for the sermon. Click Kids Ministry or Youth Ministry for more info.
Holy Communion (also called The Lord's Supper or The Eucharist)
The Lord's Supper at Christ Community Church is for all people of all ages who desire to follow Jesus Christ. At the end of the sermon, the Lord's Supper is passed on trays to you as you are seated. You will be served a small piece of bread and individual cup of grape juice which represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ. You are part of God's family. Church membership is not required to participate.
